When we founded AYO, we began as wedding and event planners. Both of us loved creating events that reflected our clients’ hearts and freed them up to enjoy the moment. Along the way, we were introduced to Sandals through our membership with the Association of Bridal Consultants. As we began to learn more about them, we saw the value of the experiences they offer. For this reason, we became travel advisors to offer our couples the incredible experience of all-inclusive vacations, honeymoons, and destination weddings with Sandals and Beaches Resorts. We help you navigate the myriad of choices to find the best fit for you.

As our business grew, we discovered a need in our own lives and in the lives of those we met. Specifically: we found a longing to make space for intentional time for community, personal creativity, and rest. As we gave ourselves the freedom to be creative and rejuvenate, we were inspired to offer this opportunity to others. to unwind and to nurture their own creativity. Thus – our art retreats and pop-up events are designed to give you time to play, replenish, and restore your soul. And online and audio classes offer easy-to-access education for planning your own event or exploring creativity. After all, connecting, learning, and creativity all play a role in thriving and maintaining a well soul.

And YES! We still plan and coordinate an occasional wedding. 😍

Kate Chief Communicator

As Chief Communicator, Kate promotes teamwork, encourages outside the box thinking, and keeps things moving smoothly. She adores learning other languages and improving her Spanish on coffee dates with friends. Kate was bitten by the travel bug in college and has been hooked ever since. (Really...ask her about the nearly six month Europe trip she and her sister took!) Chiefly, her work with AYO includes customer services and internal operating procedures along with helping plan events.

Cheryl Chief Creative Visionary

Cheryl loves to inspire vision and big dreams. She believes no dreams are too out of reach and that people can do more than they think they can do. She's a creative retreat planner and it’s been a lifelong dream to open a retreat center for groups to gather. Little did she dream that passion would translate into sending people on vacations and hosting creative events and pop-ups. Currently, Cheryl develops children's ministry resources and is in the process of writing childen's books. She frequently talks shop about gluten-free and allergy-friendly meals and loves to travel. Although she's always game to travel to a new place, given her pick, you’ll usually find her on the beach.
